PUPPY PRESCHOOL

  • Send proof of vaccinations to woofuniversity@gmail.com before class. Or, bring the most recent to Orientation. Required vaccines are Distemper/Parvo and Kennel Cough.

  • ​Your puppy can earn the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy title! Click here for the requirements.

  • Please bring your puppy and the supplies listed below to the first class.

  • Properly fitted collar or harness that will not pull off, even with effort, for your puppy's safety. 

  • Comfortable 6' leash (no flexis)

  • LOTS of small treats your puppy loves

  • Wearable hands-free treat pouch

  • A stuffed treat toy like a Toppl or Kong
    Sample recipes for treat toys

  • Your puppy's favorite toy

  • Non-spill water

  • Comfortable bed or mat for puppy

  • Cleaning supplies and wet wipes

  • Poop bags

  • ID Tag or proof of microchip (For STAR Puppy)

SAFETY

  • This class is for puppies who are non-aggressive.

  • Collars/harnesses should be snug enough that they cannot be pulled off, even with effort. Only 2 fingers can fit underneath.

  • Keep one hand on the leash at all times when outside the building.

  • Please do not allow children to approach another puppy without first asking the owner.

  • Puppy paws will be wiped before they enter the building. 

  • Please do not bring your puppy to class if they are sick or have recently been exposed to a sick animal.

  • All household members may attend class.

  • The course fee is non-refundable 48 hours prior to the first class.

  • The course fee is non-transferable to another session.

  • There are no makeup classes. Attendance in at least 4 classes is required to earn a Diploma.

  • Sick dogs may not attend class, but you can come without them to get the instruction. 

  • Females in heat MAY attend class with the appropriate cover-up.

  • Dogs recently altered may attend class. Follow your veterinarian's guide regarding restricted activity. 

  • Clean up after your dog both inside and outside the building.

  • Aggressive dogs may be dismissed without a refund.

  • Remember to bring your sense of humor! :)
